Serve, pass, set, hit—learn how to play volleyball with One U, the early skills development branch of Club One and One Beach! We offer One U camps and clinics throughout the year for Beginner athletes ages 12 and under. One U coaches teach proper technique, introduce fun game play, and help young volleyball players fall in love with the sport.
Work on specific volleyball skills and mindsets with other Experienced and Select athletes at a Small Group Training (SGT) session. Whether the focus is serve-receive, attacking technique, or advanced setter training, we limit group size and tailor each SGT session to specific grade levels so that similarly skilled athletes can practice in a focused, high-rep environment.
Learn from a variety of coaches, make new friends, and play a lot of volleyball! In the gym or on the sand, we structure our clinics to include age-appropriate skills instruction, engaging game play, and lots of reps. Check back year-round for Pre-Tryout clinics, Beach clinics, and more.

Club One indoor athletes train at Court One Athletics in Tempe, Arizona. The space touts 45,000 square-feet of solid maple flooring with nine volleyball courts, each equipped with free video live-streaming. We’re privileged to practice on one of best flooring systems in the country, made with a one-inch foam sub-floor that allows for softer landings and fewer injuries.

Parents are always welcome to stay and observe! We only ask that you leave the coaching and instruction to the coaches. If your child is distracted by your presence, we encourage you to use the time to run errands, meet up with a friend, or treat yourself 🙂
Sometimes—space is limited, especially at One U and SGT events, so we can’t guarantee there will always be room for walk-ups. We recommend signing up online in advance to reserve your spot before the session fills up.
The cost of private lessons varies based on a few factors: coach’s experience, number of participants, and court rental rate. Once we connect you with a coach for lessons, be sure to ask them about their rate. Most coaches prefer to receive payment via cash or check.
We recommend participating in multiple One U clinic series before signing up for SGT. This helps coaches determine whether you have the proper skills foundation for a beneficial SGT experience.
We have nets, court space, and LOTS of volleyballs on hand for every training event! We recommend wearing athletic clothes, plus kneepads and court shoes for Indoor training, or sunglasses and a towel for Beach training. Be sure to bring plenty of water as well, especially for Beach training, which takes place outdoors.
