Club One Alumni News | Week of November 24-30, 2021

Eight Club One alumni are still prepping for post-season competition this week, and we’ll be following along until the very end! (We’re starting to get really excited to see many of our alumni at our annual Alumni Night Celebration on Tuesday, December 21 🙂 ) Here are a few highlights from this past week:

  • Alyssa Wissinger (Boise State) and the Broncos win a program-first conference championship and qualify for the NCAA DI Championship—Lauren Forte (Florida) and Olivia Fairchild (Sacred Heart) also gear up for first round competition in the tournament
  • Jennelle Yarwood (Tufts) and Nikasha Patel (MIT) finish the 2021 season with their programs receiving #10 and #12 overall rankings in NCAA DIII
  • Macy McClain (CUNE) and the Bulldogs win out their pool to qualify for the NAIA National Quarterfinal
  • Gabby Castronova (Mines), Kyra McCain (Chaminade), and Liz Toaivao (West Florida) prepare for the first round of the NCAA DII Championship
  • Abby Peterson and Tatum Stall (Utah State) finish the 2021 season with the most wins for the program since 2010, and Tatum receives All-Conference honors

The Aggies conclude the 2021 season with an overall record of 22-9 and a conference record of 14-4, notching the most wins in a season for the program since 2010

9 kills and 2 blocks vs. San Jose State on November 24 (Mountain West Championship Opener)

7 kills and 3 blocks vs. Utah State on November 25 (Mountain West Championship Semifinal)

10 kills and 2 digs at UNLV on November 26 (Mountain West Championship Final)

Alyssa receives Mountain West All-Conference Honorable Mention recognition

Brooke receives Big West All-Conference Honorable Mention recognition

The Roadrunners will face Weber State in the first round of the 2021 Women’s National Invitational Volleyball Championship on Friday

The Miners will face West Texas A&M in the first round of the 2021 NCAA Division II Women’s Volleyball Championship on Thursday

The Jumbos finish ranked #10 overall in the final AVCA Women’s Division III Coaches Top 25 Poll of the 2021 season

The ‘Swords will face Central Washington in the first round of the 2021 NCAA Division II Women’s Volleyball Championship on Thursday

5 kills and 8 blocks at #8 Kentucky on November 26

Lauren is named to the SEC All-Conference Team

The Gators are ranked #21 in this week’s AVCA Women’s Division I Coaches Top 25 Poll. They will face Florida A&M in the first round of the 2021 NCAA Division I Women’s Volleyball Championship on Thursday.

The Argonauts will face Spring Hill in the first round of the 2021 NCAA Division II Women’s Volleyball Championship on Thursday

The Bulldogs won their two pool play matches in the 2021 NAIA Women’s Volleyball Championship and will move on to the NAIA National Quarterfinals on Thursday

The Engineers finish ranked #12 overall in the final AVCA Women’s Division III Coaches Top 25 Poll of the 2021 season
